Your invitation comes with an RSVP card, which has been addressed and stamped. Simply mark whether you and your party are attending or not, seal the envelope, and drop it in the mail.
We are requesting your RSVP before September 17th, 2008. This will allow us to plan accordingly with our caterer and bar staff.
What does RSVP mean anyway?
Most people don't know what the literal meaning of RSVP is, and being curious, I decided to toss in this random bit of information. From Wikipedia, as referenced by Merriam-Webster:
"Répondez s'il vous plaît", a French phrase that translates to "reply, please." or literally "reply, if it pleases you"
